Hi everyone!

Holy smokes, this summer's gone by quickly. I never tend to do much artwork in the summer; I don't really feel driven or inspired to. This summer was worse than usual, as I wasn't even in my hometown, where I draw so much inspiration. I've been in the city year-round, which I'm really not liking. I miss the country so much.

I've been working on some new artwork lately and I hope I can ink and colour and post it all up soon. In addition, I'm working on editing my NaNo extensively so I can self-publish it; ideally I'd like to have it all done by the end of October, as November 1 is when I'll start writing the sequel.

I have another project I'm working on; I'm writing a series of short stories, about 6, that I'd like to publish in a compilation. I was going to self-publish those but I was told that I should aim for their actual publication. So, that's what I'm gonna do!

I've been writing a lot of poetry as well. Really, I've been more productive than I realise. Nothing visual, though. All literature. I hope to rectify that soon with some drawings I've been working on, though.

August is going to be one hectic month, between working full time, traveling to another province next week during my days off, having my good friend Tom (better known as the Savage Bandito) coming to stay for ten days, plus another Picnicon event. Crazy! Then after Tom leaves, I have a week of normal-ish working life, then I have a week's vacation, which I'm really excited about. The most exciting thing about that is that I have it off WITH BRAD! So we can go somewhere, and spend some real time together. I'm really, really excited about it. We're going to a wedding, too.

What's new with you guys? Anything exciting, fancy, new? Sorry I haven't been around and commenting; I've never been terribly reliable for that, I'm afraid. :/ I hope I'll be able to comment MORE now, though.
