3. UPDATE 10/10/10: The book is now available! You can purchase it online here. Thanks in advance to any kind souls who decide to purchase the book!
A special thanks to my fiance, , who took the cover photo. You can view the photo on its own here.
The book is scheduled for worldwide online release on Sunday, October 10, 2010. I chose this date because 10/10/10 is international zombie day! The link will be made available here as soon as the book can be ordered online. I understand that many will not want to order the book because I have offered all the chapters here for free; that is completely fine. I added a few extras in the book, however, for those who would like to purchase it.
4. Feel free to submit fanart to me whenever! I LOVE fanart. Here's what I've gotten so far:

5. References for some of the important characters featured in Hub City Survival are below. If you want to make art of any characters not listed, then it's totally up to your imagination/interpretation.
Tracey
Young woman in her early twenties. Long black hair, worn straight. Messy bangs. Blue eyes. Eyebrow and lip piercings. Thin, small build, about 5'2".
Derek
Fit and athletic, but slender. Young man in his early twenties. Shoulder-length wavy/curly dark brown hair. Goatee, no mustache. Dark brown eyes, broad-ish nose. About 5'11". Dresses somewhat skater-style; baggy clothes.
Bruno
Man in his early thirties. Very handsome, with chiseled features and short, spiked blond hair. Tall; about 6'2". Broad and muscular, well-toned. Light stubble that gets thicker as the story progresses.
Diana
Average-sized 10-year old girl: about 4'5". Green eyes, with medium-length dirty-blond hair worn in messy pigtails. She's more mature than most girls her age, and that shows through her looks as well, particularly in her eyes.
Micky
A large husky dog, with heterochromic eyes: one is brown, and one is blue. His colouring is mostly brown and beige, with black. Very friendly-looking dog with a red collar.
Rebecca
Tall and curvy woman in her mid thirties. Long, curly auburn hair that has seen a streak or two of grey.

3 days left to meet the goal!
Hey friends and watchers!
Mushroom and Anchovy's campaign is almost up, and it's starting to look like it might just come to fruition! We’re at the home stretch. The last few days. The final countdown, if you will. With less than 20 preorders to go at time of writing, I'm starting to feel excited and hopeful! I still have work to do, though, to get to that number.
Thanks (again!) to local radio hosts Scotty and Tony of XL96 for blogging about Mushroom and Anchovy (again!). These two have been supportive of my work for years. Thanks again, guys!
This coming Thursday, I’m going to be starting a new initiative over on my Faceboo
Mushroom and Anchovy's campaign is ending soon!
With only ten days remaining for the Mushroom and Anchovy book campaign to reach fruition, I'm reaching out everywhere to try and meet my goal. At the time of writing this, I have 91 preorders left to reach full funding. If you need a little more convincing, here's... me!
I'm also holding a contest! You can win a $50 Amazon gift card! You get an entry just for preordering, then an extra one for every preorder, extra entries for Facebook shares of the post, and more. All the details are in the pinned post over on my Facebook page.
At this time, we have to turn all this pressure into diamonds. And like the treasure hunters in this book, we
Hello, it is I
It's been a very long time since I've updated my DA, but today seems like a good day to start again.
LIFE IS WEIRD
I won't go into too much detail about why I haven't posted anything, but I will say that life got weird, I pretty much stopped doing art, I quit my job, went back to school, graduated, had a baby (who's now 2 and a half), and now... here I am, getting back into art again and juggling the life of a part-time comic shop employee/(mostly) stay-at-home mom/writer/art-y type person/comicker.
YEP, I HAVE A COMIC NOW
I started a webcomic while I was on mat leave, and it turns 2 on June 24th! I don't know why I didn't think to post a
Fall, Tumblr, cooking and Population: 1
Hey dudes! Hope everyone is doing well!
It seems like Mother Nature has decided that September coming means that fall is here. Suddenly the weather is cooler, the days are shorter and the leaves are already starting to change colour. This has put me in full-on baking mode. Cookies and biscuits for now, and I believe there are squares and perhaps a pie in my future.
WHO HAS TUMBLR? I must know because, though I've had it for about 2 years, just now I'm getting really into it. Mine is http://nekonezume.tumblr.com. Give me a follow and I'll follow back, or leave your link/username here!
